Located inside of both driver and passenger side doors on all 1990+ Nissan 300ZX's, the door stopper is responsible for preventing the door hinges from being over extended, resulting in damage to the door, body, or hinges. The rod located in the center of these door stoppers collapses over time, hindering their ability to slow the door upon opening.
