OEM Front Air Bag Sensor for the 2007-2012 Nissan Altima models. This sensor is responsible for sensing the amount of incurred impact at the front of the vehicle and determining if and when the front airbag needs to be deployed. This sensor is located behind the center of the front bumper. Over time this sensor wears down due to the constant exposure to water and debris. It is also prone to front end and side collisions and must be replaced if the airbag is deployed.
