The engine EFI harness is one of the most important components in the engine management system on your 350Z. This harness is responsible for allowing the ECM to communicate with all of the various sensors as well as control injectors and ignition coils. Because of the age of these cars coupled with the high-heat conditions under the hood the original wiring and connectors can break apart. When this occurs, this can lead to Check Engine Light illumination followed by misfires, hesitation, and a variety of other issues. Factory harnesses are quite complicated and often times can be more costly to repair than to replace.

The OEM Engine Harness does not include the associated sub-harnesses used to control fuel injectors, knock sensor and passenger side ignition coils. Because these are susceptible to the same wear replacement of these sub-harnesses is highly recommended whenever servicing the engine harness. These can be purchased seperatly using the links below.
