OEM 2011-2018 Infiniti M37 / Q70 Drive Belt Tensioner for models equipped with the VQ37VHR.

Located on the front of the motor in your VQ, this belt tensioner provides the belt a smooth surface to spin across while providing the proper amount of belt tension. As the bearings in the pulley wear, you may begin to experience a high pitch squeaking or squealing. Over time this may result in complete bearing failure, causing the pulley to lock up and break the belt. In addition, internal springs on the tensioner become loose overtime, in some cases leading to belt slip/squealing.
