OEM 2009-2015 Nissan Maxima, 2007-2012 Nissan Altima and 2008-2013 Nissan Altima Coupe Passenger Idler Pulley for models equipped with the 3.5L VQ35DE.
The idler pulley is responsible for guiding and maintaining tension with the drive belt. As the bearings in the pulley wear, you may begin to experience a high pitch squeaking or squealing. Over time this may result in complete bearing failure, causing the pulley to lock up and break the belt.
