OEM Belt Tensioner Assembly fits all the '09-'21 Nissan GT-R R35 models equipped with a VR38DETT powertrain.

Located on the front of the motor in your VR, this belt tensioner provides the belt a smooth surface to spin across while providing the proper amount of belt tension. As the bearings in the pulley wear, you may begin to experience a high pitch squeaking or squealing. Over time this may result in complete bearing failure, causing the pulley to lock up and break the belt. In addition, internal springs on the tensioner become loose overtime, in some cases leading to belt slip/squealing.

Note: If your production date is before 05/2010 select the "2009-2010" option, and if it is after 05/2010 then select the "2011-2021" option.
