Product Description

Z1's 370Z Front Bash Bar was designed to provide additional clearance behind the front bumper for forced induction cars with large intercoolers or naturally aspirated cars with large intakes like the Z1 3'' Race Cold Air Intake.

Our bar is manufactured from mandrel bent 4130 chromoly steel, welded to 5mm thick base plates. It's designed to bolt directly in place of the factory aluminum crash bar and retains compatibility with OE and aftermarket tow hooks and straps. The captive tow hook nut is manufactured from 304 stainless steel, preventing thread corrosion.

Please note this item was not tested on all available bumpers. Some bumpers, including NISMO, will require light modification or trimming for use. This item is designed for off-road use and has not been crash test rated for use on road cars that must comply with safety standards.

I have a 2012 with stock bumper. Everything is nice on it but you do have to modify the tow hook. It will just push on your front bumper and makes it hard to get back on and the cover to hid the tow hook will not go back on. I was able to cut and weld the tow hook back on to clear my bumber but if you are buying this fit intake and don't have the tools to weld i would look in to other options.

Good quality and accommodates the larger air filters good but the tow hook doesn't line up with the factory bumper at all. Had to cut it off.

Easy install. Direct fit. Allows for more room to add other goodies behind the front clip! Or if you have to go without it give a much cleaner appearance with just as much protection.

This helps tremendously with airflow, especially if you have Z1 3 Inch Intakes or want to run a boosted setup. Gives a lot of extra space to work with up front & is very high quality.

Lightweight, stylish and allowed me to use the high flow race filters. This bash bar also comes with the new Z1 supercharger kit (on my wish list), so will have an extra one I guess. lol

Bash bar is simple and easy to install, you are able to run the 3inch intakes no problem. I will say there is light shaving that you have to do for the nismo front bumper around the tow hook area for the bumper to sit flush, without bumping into it.
