Z1 engine tunes do not disable emissions control systems or the onboard diagnostic (OBD) system. The customer is responsible for ensuring the hardware they are using on their vehicle does not cause a failure to meet emissions standards.
The Z1 Performance Tuning Package provides the best tuning solution for your Nissan 370Z or Infiniti G37 outside of our in-house services. The Level 1 Tune (base) requires no dyno tuning and is expertly pre-calibrated to suit your vehicle. Our Level 2 Tune (custom) will allow your car to unlock maximum power from your mods and lets you get your money's worth from all your performance upgrades.
Included with the purchase of the Level 1 or Level 2 Tune is an EcuTek OBDII bluetooth performance analyzer and adapter that is used to install the provided ROM file onto your stock ECU through EcuTek's ECU Connect App. EcuTek allows full bluetooth vehicle integration with their ECU Connect app for mobile devices. The ECU Connect software gives you the ability to read and reset diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) and gives you access to a huge number of diagnostic parameters. Through their bluetooth app you have access to data logging of hundreds of parameters, including detailed ignition and knock control, fuel injector timing, boost (if equipped), intake air temperature, and more!

When setting up your account through EcuTek Connect, please be sure to use the SAME EMAIL that you use for your Z1 account. Failure to do this may result in extended processing time.

If your car has aftermarket catalytic converters (HFC's), your car requires a Level 2 Tune. Please read the information below prior to ordering.

Z1 Level 2 tuning starts with the Level 1 tune and adds custom changes to suit your level of hardware modifications. To ensure these changes are best suited to your car, an iterative process is used. Z1 will upload your first Level 2 tune based on the modification list you’ve disclosed. You will load that tune and then perform a data log on the vehicle per the instructions given to you by the Z1 tuner. Based on that data log, the tuner will adjust the tune to optimize your vehicle’s performance. If necessary, this process will be repeated one additional time for a maximum of 3 total tunes. Explanation of Level 2 Tune Options:
Level 2 Tune - Exhaust Options
Select whether or not your car has aftermarket headers and/or a complete exhaust with aftermarket catalytic converters. The customer is responsible for ensuring the catalysts being used are emissions-compliant. Z1 tunes do not disable emissions control systems or the onboard diagnostic (OBD) system.
Level 2 Tune - Intake and Fueling Options
3'' Intakes - Select this option if your car has oversized / 3'' intakes installed, such as Z1's 3'' Cold Air Intakes.
If your car has non-factory size intakes that are not 3'' in diameter, please select the 3'' option and include your intake type in the tuning spec sheet.
PLEASE NOTE:
- If your car has TAKEDA intakes from AFE, these intakes are stock 2.5" in diameter at the MAF housing. You do not need to select the Level 2 3" Intake option.
- While K&N makes fantastic filter media and filters, we have found that their K&N Typhoon intakes underperform. They are restrictive, compared to the stock intake, and therefore we do not recommend them. If you do choose to run a K&N Typhoon intake, you are required to select the "Level 2 3" intake option" in order to receive a tune.
Injectors / E85 - Select this option if your car has oversized injectors (up to 750cc) for E85 ethanol fuels. Z1 will only tune-up to 750cc injectors for naturally aspirated cars. Injectors larger than 750cc are unnecessary for naturally aspirated cars, despite ethanol content, and can result in issues with idle quality.
At this time, we do not recommend using Bosch 650cc injectors on VHR applications. Issues with consistency may result in lower power output.

After purchasing this package, please follow the corresponding link below to provide our tuners with the required information. This MUST BE COMPLETED before a tune can be sent.
Know that once we have this information your file(s) have to be built. This process could take up to 3 business days.
If your car was manufactured and sold for the Japanese domestic market, it is imperative that you first verify with your local Nissan dealer that your VIN is programmed to your ECU. JDM-spec cars do not have VIN's programmed from the factory, creating issues with the tuning process. This can be resolved by visiting your local Nissan dealer prior to purchase.
