Located just behind the front bumper cover on your 2003-2008 Infiniti FX35 / FX45, this Aluminum Crash Bar helps absorb the energy as a result of a front end collision and spreads the impact load across both frame rails.  This bar should be replaced in the event of a front end collision as the Crash Bar will loose its structural rigidity and cannot be repaired.
