Located just behind the front bumper cover on your 2007-2008 Infiniti G35 Sedan (V36) and 2009-2013 Infiniti G37 Sedan (V36), this Aluminum Crash Bar helps absorb the energy as a result of a front end collision and spreads the impact load across both frame rails.  This bar should be replaced in the event of a front end collision as the Crash Bar will loose its structural rigidity and cannot be repaired.

NOTE: As per Nissan Service Files, 2007-2008 G35 Sedan (V36) owners are recommended to use this 2009+ G37 Sedan (V36) front crash bar in place of the 2007-2008 unit. This will require replacement of the Energy Absorber with the matching 2009+ piece found HERE.
