OEM adhesive backed foam windshield sealant is used on all 1990+ 300ZX models during the windshield installation process. The glass on your 300ZX is held to the car with a high strength urethane. Prior to the use of the urethane sealant, this foam is installed to prevent the windshield from sinking, prevents road noise, and prevents urethane sealant from pushing into the car after installation.
One roll is required per-car.
