OEM High Pressure Fuel Pump on your Sentra is responsible for compressing the fuel supplied by the in-tank electric fuel pump to the pressure required for the high-pressure direct injection. This pump is located on the left (driver side) valve cover and is mechanically driven by the camshaft. Failure of the HPP will result in loss of power, active check engine light, and poor drivability.
