The factory fuel pump system in the Nissan Z and Infiniti Q50/Q60 leaves a lot to be desired. The factory system utilizes a small single fuel pump which simply is not enough to support an upgraded HPFP, or aftermarket port injection systems. Our AMS Snailworks® Engineering Team took this as an opportunity to not only increase the total throughput of the fuel pump system, but to do it in such a way that all of the OEM functionality is not just retained, but improved. Gone are the days of being required to keep your fuel tank filled to a minimum of a half tank, hacking up your factory pump basket, or being forced to use an external fuel surge tank mounted in the trunk. Allowing for massive fuel flow, a dual pump system is capable of supporting an astounding 1400 HP and is the perfect match for aftermarket port injection systems.
