New OEM Nissan Rear Hatch Struts for all '02+ 350Z Models.

Over time, the rear hatch struts tend to wear out and lose their ability to raise and hold the hatch.  Stock hatch struts can also become inadequate when an aftermarket wing is affixed to the hatch, increasing the total weight the struts must lift.  In either case, owners often find themselves either being struck with the hatch as it falls back down or discovers that the hatch becomes increasingly heavy as the struts fail.

Replacing the struts is an easy process requiring only a few bolts to be removed.

Z1 offers two Nissan variations including a Standard and Nismo Rear Hatch Strut.  Owners with a 350Z lacking a rear spoiler may choose from either the standard or the upgraded, however it is recommend that owners with models equipped with the wings choose the Upgraded Rear Hatch Strut option. 

**The Upgraded Rear Hatch Strut is from the NISMO Edition of the 350Z that has a larger wing equipped with its aero package.  These struts are able to lift and support the increased weight of most wing combinations.

You may also choose to add New OEM Nissan Hatch Mounts.  Owners often find themselves breaking their existing mounts during disassembly and find it much more convenient to purchase the mounts at the same time.  

Z1 Motorsports upgraded hatch struts are available here, they are available with higher pressures than the standard OEM and Nismo Units, and at a much lower cost.
