Genuine Infiniti Q50/Q60 Secondary Hood Latch
This latch is mounted in the center of the core support and catches the striker in the center of the hood when lowered. The secondary latch prevents the hood from opening, even when the hood release cable is pulled until it is released manually. This latch is prone to being damaged in front end collisions.
