OEM Hood Stop Buffer / Bumper which is located on both the left and right sides of the front core support or hood. It is used to support and protect the front edge of the hood.
This Hood Stop is used to support and protect the front edge of the hood to ease the process of closing/shutting it, and lower the risk of inflicting damage.

Maybe USDM and JDM cars use different parts, but this was about 1/2 the length of the hood bumpers currently on my JDM car. So I will have to order another set from the Nissan dealership instead.
