Product Description

OEM Nissan oil filter is made for the larger VQ's, VR38DETT and various other engines equipped across Nissan and Infiniti's lineup.

This filter being 15mm larger in overall length than the standard Nissan OE filter offers improved filtration. Greater filtration coupled with improved capacity in an OEM package ensures you get the best quality filter for all applications.

Note: While it can be used as a substitute for the standard filter, it is important to remember that because this filter is larger (as shown below) it may come in contact with other vehicle components when used with aftermarket and OE oil coolers on some models.

Always go with a Nissan oil filter for your Nissan Vehicle. I've used this oil filter in my 2005 Frontier. 2004 Sentra, 2023 and 2024 Nissan Rogue and it has always fit perfectally. Plus, Z1 has the best price.

Not a good filter. I cut a new one open and compared it to a made in Japan OEM filter from Mahle (15208-65F1B). You may think there is more filter media, but there is not. Taller, yes, but the cross section is about 30% narrower than the Japan made filter is. So the filter material is about the same. The pressure relief valve is cheap and it shows. This Made in Mexico filter is NOT better than the Made in Japan filter. I ran this filter for 200 miles and I decided I didn't want to risk it. Bought three and threw away 2 brand new filters. Overall cheap construction. Cut one open and see for yourself.
