The Street Advance Z damper is the evolution of our popular Street Advance coilover. Developed to provide a sporty ride feeling and aggressive stance, along with wide-range damping force adjustment using our new Advance Needle technology, giving the driver a much more noticeable feel in damping force change. The shortened shell case design provides optimum damper stroke at lower than standard vehicle ride height. Vehicle ride height is adjustable via the ZT coated threaded sleeve. Updated internal components and external coatings increase durability and product life. Street Advance Z dampers are great for daily driving and spirited driving for all types of drivers.

Dampening Force Adjustable / Twin Tube System

Through the use of a simple dial on the top of each shock absorber, ride comfort and handling of your Tein Street Advance coilovers can be tailored to your driving dituiation and preference. Tein Street Advance Z coilovers have a total of 16 damper settings, adjusting compression and rebound together.

Tein dampers use a Twin-Tube system. Compared to the regular mono-tube system, twin-tube attains longer stroke with a smaller repulsive force, resulting in high ride comfort. Roads may have all sorts of surface conditions. This calls for shock absorbers with ample stroke, that operate smoothly. Thanks to this unique characteristic, you can negotiate gaps and bumps steadily on rough roads, meaning a smooth ride at low speed and stability at high speed.
