OEM Knock Sensor found on all 2011-2017 Nissan Juke models.
This sensor acts as the ECU's "ears" and listens for detonation, also known as spark knock or pre-ignition. When this is detected, the ECU pulls timing and adds fuel to prevent further detonation thus preventing imminent damage. When the Knock Sensor fails, symptoms often include Check Engine Light (CEL) Illumination, loss of power, etc.
