Z1 VQ35DE Knock Sensor Service Kit includes everything you need in order to completely service your knock sensors. When replacing your knock sensors you will have to remove your upper and lower manifold in order to change / service your knock sensors. The gaskets that are between the lower manifold and the cylinder heads must be replaced once the lower manifold has been removed.
This is the Knock Sensor Sub Harness found on all Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35 models equipped with the VQ35DE Engine. When this harness fails you will see a Check Engine Light with the code P0327.
P0327 Codes are caused by either a low output voltage seen by the ECU from the knock sensor pointing to a faulty sensor or a short or open knock sensor circuit.
While most often this code is indicative of a faulty knock sensor sub harness, sometimes the sensors do go bad you can elect to purchase both below and save.
Z1 also sells new OEM Knock Sensors HERE and can be included for a discounted price as an option below.
NOTE: G35 models with a build production date before 06/03 MUST purchase a new style knock sensor with the harness. The original knock sensor on G35's built prior to 06/03 is different, and cannot be connected with this new style harness. The optional knock sensor below is a new-style type sensor and will allow you to use the newer style knock sensor sub harness sold here.
