This hose carries fluid from the power steering cooler, located directly behind the front fascia, to the power steering reservoir. Over time power steering hoses will begin to leak due to exposure to heat, chemicals and moisture. Often time, owners do not find these leaks until it's too late. In the event that your power steering pump runs dry, you risk damaging the pump which can not be repaired.
