This hose carries fluid to the HICAS pump on AWD R32 models. Over time power steering hoses will begin to leak due to exposure to heat, chemicals and moisture. Often time, owners do not find these leaks until it's too late. In the event that your power steering pump runs dry, you risk damaging the pump which can not be repaired.
