The radiator is one of the most important components in the cooling system, responsible for cooling engine coolant as it passes through the aluminum core. Because these are located behind the front fascia they are prone to damage from a front or side impact and must be replaced. OEM radiators also utilize plastic tanks crimped to the aluminum core that often develop leaks as they age.
