These are typical wear components that should also be checked frequently, and are responsible for maintaining consistent coolant temperatures. Replacement of the radiator cap is recommended whenever replacing the radiator.

Please note: 370Z's used two different caps depending on year / production date. Early models with a standard non-pressurized coolant reservoir use a standard style cap with a relief spring, while late production models (post 08/11 production) with a pressurized coolant reservoir use a non-sprung cap. This is optioned below as follows:
