    Product Description

    OEM Rear Axle Shaft for the Nissan Frontiers and Xterras equipped with the factory Dana electronic locker M226 rear differential. Axle assembly comes pre-assembled with abs ring, backing plate, housing seal, bearing and retainer.

    Sold Individually.

    Note: This axle shaft is only for the models equipped with the factory Dana e-locker M226 rear differential.

    Can't find this OEM axle assy anywhere else cheaper. Replaced mine simply because the seal was leaking. Yes you can buy just the seal, but the time saved not having to press bearing off and back on, along with the fact the bearing had miles on it... WAS A NO BRAINER. Old one out, new one in , some fluid and away you go. Ty Z1

    My 2012 had an issue with the axle seals leaking. Unfortunately I don't have a press or any other specialty tools to replace just the bearings and seals for both axles. Also Nissan didn't seem to have one of the axles in stock for some silly reason. Thankfully Z1 had both in stock and was able to get it to me fairly quickly. Now I'm holding on to my old ones so I can put new bearings and seals on those for when these ones decide to leak. This will help me keep the vehicle on the road longer.

    This part shipped double boxed with good padding between the boxes so there was no damage when it arrived, I appreciate this extra effort. The axle installed easily and it is functioning perfectly.

    The seal on my OEM axle finally gave way and I purchased this OEM replacement and couldn't be happier. The price is a little up there but I'm happy knowing all the bearings and seal is brand new. Installation was simple only taking about 1 hour to complete and the drive shaft fit perfect and I have had no issues with it. My vehicle is a 2005 Nissan Xterra Off Road edition with the locking rear differential. I would buy here again. Ordering was simple and finding the correct part for my m226 rear diff was easy and confirmed correctly. Shipping was quick!

    Much easier and faster to replace the whole axle than to rebuild. It came preassembled as described. I have driven 10K miles on this shaft on 35inch tires and have had no issues. OEM Nissan is the way to go. Now I have a spare shaft I can rebuild.
