Product Description
KYB Strut Boot Kits keep your struts protected from dirt, dust, sand, salt and other road debris. These harmful elements cause abrasive wear to the polished shaft, upper seal and bushing. KYB Strut Boot Kits prevent these contaminants from entering the strut by covering the entire strut shaft in a highly durable plastic bellows. This can easily extend the life of the strut. The KYB Strut Boot Kit includes a polyfoam travel-limiting bumper. It's designed to protect the strut from bottoming out and protects other components from extreme movement damage.
Fits OEM and aftermarket front strut assemblies on the following models:
- 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z (Z33)
- 2003-2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe (V35)
- 2003-2006 Infiniti G35 Sedan (V35)

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, the OEM dust boot is like $75 (??) so this is the only alternative at Z1 anyway. The fitment is not very good. The bumper was relocated from top to bottom and that works but as a result the tigher upper portion of springs hugs the dust boot too tightly making it not move up or down, it's just squished in there. And I didn't want to remove the bumper. Possibly relocating it to the top like the OEM if you can get the boot to attach to it; I couldn't. Overall, frustrating part. This really doesn't fit a 350Z; it's a universal and while it DOES it's job for dust protection, it looks strange being squished inside my Tein springs. So, fitment really only works with OEM struts/springs at best.
