The Rear Lateral Arm connects the steering knuckle assembly to the rear subframe, this stabilizes the vehicle when turning. The bushings within this arm reduces road vibration and friction between the suspension components. It is possible for the bushings to fail on these arms, and is best to replace the entire arm rather than just the bushings.
