A common failure point of a Rear Upper Control Arm is the rear ball joint. Given that it is not replaceable, a completely new arm must be installed if it fails. These bushings can break or wear causing a clunk noise when your S15 goes over bumps or changes speed rapidly. Control Arms are also susceptible to becoming bent, which can cause your vehicle to pull to the left or right.
