Z1's 350Z Blast Pipe Exhaust pays homage to the Japanese Bosozoku/Kaido culture, known for its extreme, unapologetic style and sound. True to its origins, blast pipes are designed to make both a visual and audible statement. While Z1’s version may be more subtle in appearance compared to traditional boso-style exhausts, its sound is anything but. This is a high-volume exhaust, completely devoid of mufflers and resonators, letting your VQ engine roar in its most raw and authentic form. Not for the faint of heart, this exhaust ensures you'll be heard from every direction.
The Construction
As with all Z1 exhaust systems, the Blast Pipe Exhaust is tig-welded from high-quality stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance, ideal for northern or coastal climates. The mandrel-bent 3" piping supports a modest boost in power, while the dual 4" x 2.5" oval tips add aggressive styling. Weighing just 18.8 lbs, thanks to its resonator- and muffler-free design, this exhaust is as light as it is loud. Installation is straightforward, however, a bumper-tuck is necessary to install this exhaust.
