This looks amazing but there were some issues with installation you should be aware of. Your original reflector's two housing bolts may be rusted so badly they won't come undone. One of mine snapped off but the other spun in place and shredded the plastic holding it. I ended up using an impact gun to spin the bolt and melt through the plastic housing to get it out. I then cut a panel washer to size to fill the now enlarged hole. This light comes with some red quick splice connectors. Throw them away. They're not weather sealed, they provide a poor connection and can lead to failures later on. The proper way to connect this is with several 2-1 Multi Wire Butt Connectors that have heat shrink to weather proof the connection, specifically designed to splice two wires into a single wire. There are different gauge versions depending on the wire, for the 370z I used Dorman Conduct-Tite 14-16 Gauge Blue Butt Connectors. The part number is #97407 at most autoparts stores. You will also need a crimper tool. Pay attention to the wiring instructions, don't connect the "light green" (white on my 370z) wire to the white wire on the new brake light. Make sure the new brake light is crimped into the wiring harness, NOT the left rear brake light itself as I've seen several youtubers do when demonstrating how to install this. I'd give this 5 stars if it came with better wiring crimps or omitted the quick splice connectors.

Love this light/ reflector upgrade...I'm sure somewhere in the description it mentions that you need to buy a flasher module to make it flash under braking - i just must've missed it.

Looks nice! The wires are the perfect length to reach the tail light and the fit/finish are perfect. It comes with splice connectors, but i went the route of de-pinning the taillight connector and splicing in with solder for a longer-lasting solution (as a daily driver).

Awesome product and quick delivery. Feels sturdy and high quality. No additional wiring harness needed, they reach to taillight and fits perfectly onto the OEM 'cradle' behind the bumper/valance. The light comes with nuts (8mm). Would be helpful to have a connectors close to the light in case it needs to be removed (just a thought). All operating modes of the light are bright and clearly visible in daylight, even standby or sidelight mode. Would happily recommend this mod!

I wanted to wait some time before I made a review on this. And it’s been a year now and haven’t had a single issue with it. No seal issues, none of the lights burning out or dimming. And I live in all season weather. Very solid fog light✅

Looks & functions great! P.S. Pep Boys charged me $219 to install the front pads & rotors I ordered! They never bothered with this & left it sitting on seat. My car was not even in the shop an hour. When I questioned them they had me come back for "complimentary" install of this brake light & made me feel bad saying it cost them $360! Doesn't sound right to me but that's on them. Thank you Z1!

This is an awesome (4th) Brake Light for the Z34. The wiring is lengthy enough to reach the Driver's side Rear Light, although the connections should be handled carefully so as to splice it into the vehicles harness. The light is bright, whether it is the parking light part, the Brake Light or the Reverse Light and the smoke lens makes my Z look great, especially with the Smoke Lenses of the Morimoto Tail Lights.

Overall added a great touch to the rear end, wish I could see it while driving! Lol. What's included in the box is all you'll need, no need to buy the extra wiring harness. All you'll need is a flathead, 5mm, 7mm, 10mm, and some electrical tape. Took about an hour or so by myself but wasn't too hard to install after watching a YouTube video and following along. It does NOT blink like some JDM lights when you press the brake but does function as a DRL, brake light when pressed and a reverse light. I plan on getting morimoto headlights/taillights so I got the fully smoked lens which looks great. Isn't too dark and not crazy bright, easy to see.

I’ve ordered this item twice. First time, condensation got in the lenses. 2nd time, power output was dimmed down drastically. Wasn’t as bright as when it was brand new.

Housing improperly sealed order a 2nd one and the same thing happened. Had condensation almost immediately.

Love it! Fits in perfect and is very bright even with the full smoked lens.

1st bought 9-4-20, replaced 11-20, 2nd one needs replacing 7-21. For $80 2 of them couldn't last a year without moisture getting in them. The 2nd one could have had moisture a month or more ago, just noticed. I see nothing about a warranty anywhere. If it's not a warranty I'm just gonna paint it black n use it as a spacer. I wouldn't spend the money on another one.

It’s very bright and should’ve came on the 370z already. It’s a pretty easy install that took me about two hours at most. I definitely recommend this part to any z owner because it’s not hard on the wallet and changes the appearance in the rear in a pretty big way especially at night.
