Morimoto XB LED Gen II: Much more than a design refresh, these tail lights showcase an improved build quality, tighter fitment, higher-quality components, and a variety of configurations. The internal design mimics that of the new XB Evo headlights for the 370Z for a very well-executed look front to rear.
Smoked or Clear: Available in two housing colors to suit your tastes: smoked lens with a dark style or clear lens with internal red lenses for more of an OEM+ look. Either way, these don’t look like anything else on the market, guaranteed.
DOT Compliant: Clear lens models are designed in accordance with all DOT, SAE, and FMVSS108 standards with their integrated red reflex reflectors. Their intensity in all modes is brighter than stock with a broader visible range thanks to their optical design. Smoked lens models use smoked reflex reflectors and as such are not compliant for on-road use in North America. Welcome Sequence: Easily configured at the back of the housing, an elegant welcome sequence brings the tail lights to life when the parking lights are turned on. It does nothing for performance, but it is mesmerizing to watch and adds a luxury feel. The sequence even extends to the turn signals which would otherwise only illuminate amber.
Signal Swap: Also configurable are the top amber turn signals, which can be set to blink either sequentially or in a more traditional on-off mode with an elegant fade-off effect. A unique blinking pattern does nothing for performance, but it can improve visibility for other drivers.
Reverse Lights: Often over-looked, but not with the Morimoto XB tail lights for the Z. While they come standard with powerful LED reverse lights, just wait, there’s more! Morimoto's Backup Light Boost Bar system allows you to add an auxiliary reverse light which mounts to the top of your license plate frame and provides an extra 2,700 lumens of controlled light output. Yeah, Morimoto customers like to see where they're going in reverse too! The only downside here is that the bumper must be dropped for installation of the Backup Light Boost Bar.
