This is a New Lower Ball Joint for your Nissan 350Z or Infiniti G35. The ball joints in your knuckle are the only parts that wear but Nissan does not offer it separately, so replacing the entire upright when the ball joint fails seems silly. NOTE: These ball joints are designed for OE style fitment, there are different tapers and depth for the "early" and "late" style conical seat connection to the lower control arm.  While most of the aftermarket gets this wrong on both ball joint and lower control arm leading to premature failure and the destruction of the lower control arm, Z1 has worked hard to ensure these factory fit parts are of great quality and the correct fit.
