This is the OEM Shifter Control Rod that bolts to the shifter sssembly found on all Nissan 350Z's, 370Z's, Infiniti G35's equipped with a manual transmission. The universal joints in these often wear causing extra play or "slop" when shifting gears. Z1 also recommends replacing the Shifter Dust Boot when servicing this area of the vehicle.
