Z1's GT525 Plus Turbo Kit is an evolution of the popular Z1 GT525 Kit with enhancements made to improve response while supporting even greater levels of power.
525+ Turbo's are assembled with 100% new parts including the compressor housing, making core charges a thing of the past. Better flowing compressor housings with .80 AR replace the stock .42 AR housings, supporting higher levels of power. Inside, you'll find a lightweight billet compressor wheel, helping improve turbo spool-up for better response.

Z1's GT525+ is the third generation in our line of 4-bolt turbos, and offer similar spool-up characteristics to the outgoing Gen2 525 with greater production of power and torque through the upper RPMs. These turbo's commonly produce ~450RWHP on pump fuel and can produce in excess of 630+RWHP on race fuel with proper tuning and other supporting modifications. These turbos spool up quickly and are capable of supporting more than 200 rwhp over the stock turbo's. This is partially due to our better flowing .80 A/R compressor housing, which means cooler charge temps at the same flow rate when compared to a stock housing turbo.
These use brand new compressor and turbine housings, designed specifically to house the larger compressor and turbine wheels. We have also employed a 360-degree thrust bearing assembly to further improve the longevity of these turbochargers. Turbine sections use a 4-bolt downpipe configuration and are direct bolt-on turbos.

Installation Note: As is the case with any turbo larger than stock, slight trimming of the motor mounts and clocking of the turbo may be necessary if using aftermarket exhaust manifolds. This is dependent on the installer and the use of other aftermarket parts.
