OEM 2009-2017 Infiniti FX35 / FX37 / QX70 Thermostat for those equipped with the VQ35HR / VQ37VHR.
The thermostat/housing for the HR is mounted to the front of the engine block. The thermostat manages engine temperatures by controlling coolant flow via an electronically actuated valve. When these fail, it generally results in CEL illumination (P0128) and abnormally high or low engine temperatures. We also occasionally see failed thermostats leaking and seeping coolant from the top of the housing. Ensure proper function and fitment with this genuine Infiniti Thermostat replacement. Gasket NOT included.
