Address your '15+ NISMO Z's brake cooling needs with the new Z1 Front Brake Cooling Kit, designed and tested on our own time attack 370Z.

Throughout the past 10 years, we have focused countless hours on the development and testing of new performance brake products with the sole intent of making our competition cars more consistent, and improving braking performance. It should come as no surprise that the best way to do this is through proper thermal management, much of this coming from ducting air to the brakes. This is done by directing high-pressure air from the front of the car through ducting and into the cooling vanes of the front brake rotors.

The Design

To get air to the brakes, engineers designed inlet ducts that replace the factory daytime running lights. These ducts are made from injection molded plastic and include brackets needed to attach to the factory hardware locations on the bumper. The outlet of the duct is designed to work with the high-temperature flexible ducting included with this kit, directing air to the specially designed backing plates and into the brake rotors cooling vanes.

The included brake backing plates are CNC laser cut from stainless steel, with 2.5'' air inlets TIG welded over the center of the rotor hub allowing cooler air to be forced through the rotors cooling vanes. This cool air pulls heat away from the front and back of the rotor, reducing brake temperatures and maintaining your Z's braking performance. Our 2.5'' inlets are the largest on the market, greatly increasing cooling potential.

Included with each purchase are two 2-meter sections of high-temperature flexible ducting and clamps.
