Product Description
The Z1 Motorsports carbon fiber high flow air intake for 350Z or G35 (DE models) features a high flow serviceable filter, cast aluminum adapter including velocity stack, and carbon fiber intake tube. While many carbon fiber parts are manufactured from a carbon / fiberglass composite, Z1 carbon is manufactured from 100% carbon fiber, gel coated for durability and a gloss-like finish!
Getting air into the engine is key to producing power. The stock airbox system uses paper filter elements and the path of air through the box offers resistance which means less air gets into the engine. Upgrading your filtration system to a high-flow filter that also features a velocity stack will enhance your engine's breathing capability.
A velocity stack is a radiused port of which funnels the air into the mass airflow unit - this guides the turbulent gases as they pass through the filter element and enhances intake flow characteristics.
The Z1 Motorsports "Z" Tube Assembly allows you to replace the restrictive OEM air intake piping on your 350Z or G35 (Non HR models) with the high flow Z1 Carbon Fiber "Z" Tube.
Your factory mass air flow sensor housing is required and must be reinstalled in this package.
Please note: If you are using any "Z" Tube on your G35 you will need to change the rear PCV hose to one from a 03-06 350Z. It is shaped differently and connects to the port on the tube which is underneath on Z vs on top for G35.

Looks amazing in the engine bay of the Z!
Combined with lightness and a nice performance increase!
Would recommend to run some sort of heatshield for protection against heat soak.

Great product and made the engine sound really good at higher RPM's! More top end power it seems and again sounds great when you get on it! Not to mention it basically weighs nothing!!! Highly recommend this!

I like the look of the carbon fiber in the engine bay, im also digging the red cupplers wit the Z1 logo, only wish y’all had an option wit a red air filter instead of the stock blue one lol but OVERALL everything is GREAT and TRUST when i say you when see my name every time i make an order! My first order for my first build was a success!
