Product Description
The Z1 Engine Harness Cover is bolted to the timing cover on '03-'06 350Z and '03-'07 G35 "DE" models, hiding the unsightly engine harness as it crosses over the engine. This easy-to-install cover includes two discreet brackets that are placed under the cover for a nicely finished appearance. The included brackets are gusseted to increase rigidity, reduce flex, and to keep the cover from feeling flimsy once installed. Additionally, the brackets are manufactured in a "U" shape to hold the engine harness in place. Installation hardware and instructions are included.

Cool piece. Fitment is good. I put a washer under the bracket because otherwise the bracket fits tilted on the timing cover. The washer helps it sit nice and flush. I believe the kit should include a washer for each bracket as it is quite obviously slanted and not sitting flush. That is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Expensive for a piece of aluminum but it does look nice.

Bolted the product up and made sure not to over tighten. Nobody touches my engine but me then one day, I do a check up. The dang thing is missing and all that is left are the "L" shape holders that were bolted to my engine. A one hundred dollar item absorbing 200+ heat with weak supports holding a piece of aluminum that swings back and forth. Btw, the engine cover is somewhere on the freeway collecting dust... Z1, Please upgrade those supports. Thanks!

This thing looks awesome! I will say for G35 application, I didn’t have the mounting studs in the location it called for. Simple fix, since mine had 10mm bolts instead (for the oem harness bracket holes). I used 2 washers on each to level the Z1 brackets flush with the top of the timing cover. (There’s a slot where the oem harness brackets sit, that is not quite flush with the timing cover, used to keep single bolt brackets from spinning, I leveled it out easily using 2 thin washers underneath the Z1 brackets, then a 10mm bolt thru both) Excellent product & polished aluminum pairs well with my kinetix manifold & polished intake. 5 star all around!!
