Z1 350Z / G35 VQ35DE Oil Pan Spacer

Definitely recommend. But at it's It was easy to install and you really solve some oil leak issues and for a car that enjoys burning a bit in it's older days it's nice to have some extra on hand. Lol 227779 and still counting. Drive it I stole it. 😂

Yay! I don't have to worry about the oil anymore, I had to install it twice cuz the first time it leaked, use a gasket and not silicone!

Actually used this on my 1997 nissan maxima turbo drain. Works great no modification needed other than drilling and welding the drain bung

Works great! Car has just about 1 more quart of oil! Was not hard to install either. Just make sure you clean everything real good before installation.

The oil pan spacer and pickup spacer themselves are great. I especially like that the pickup spacer has o-rings on both sides unlike some other brands. The problem with this spacer that is not mentioned in the listing is that unique to the 2005 Infiniti G35 there is a oil baffle plate mounted to the upper oil pan. Once the oil pickup spacer is installed with the oil pickup there there wont be enough clearance to mount the oil baffle plate. If you have a grinder and some files modifying the baffle plate to fit isnt a big deal, but if you do not have these tools to modify the baffle plate you are going to run into problems. I made z1motorsports aware of this issue but they have failed to mention it on the item page. Also I would not use the included bolts. They are cheaply made. While tightening one bolt to 62 inch pounds of torque that is recommended. The bolt broke. I had to remove the oil pan and spacer. This was another couple hours worth of work that included having to remove the gasket maker from all the surfaces (painstaking) in order to reinstall the spacer and oil pan Drill the bolt out and re-thread the hole. Id recommend spending a couple extra bucks and getting some quality made 8.8 or even stronger 10.9 class bolts for this.
