Z1 Motorsports 350Z/G35 Powder Coated Aluminum Z Tubes (For VQ35DE equipped models ONLY)

Following the success of the Polished, Chrome and Black Z1 Aluminum Z Tubes, Z1 Motorsports is proud to announce the release of the Z1 Motorsports Powder Coated Aluminum Z Tubes.

Replace the restrictive OEM air intake piping on your 350Z or G35 (Non-HR models) with the high flow Z1 "Z" Tube.  Made from lightweight aluminum and now available in your choice of colors in a unique wrinkle or gloss finish.  Perfect for use with the Z1 High flow intake or JWT Pop Charger for a simple and effective short ram intake system.

Also includes 2 silicone couplers in your choice of RED, BLUE, or BLACK and 4 hose clamps.

This intake is now CARB legal for road use in California. For information on replacement stickers, CLICK HERE.

Finish quality is nice. If you have a larger throttle body than stock make sure you order the boot you will need . Clamps are decent quality and the price is on point. The red is a little darker then most red components from after market so o recommend getting a can of high temp red that is close you your color.

I think having another slight bend on the straight end would look better installed. I used the OEM connector for the air box. Other than that a nice piece.

The shipping was very quick. Okay so a small piece of powder coating chipped off the lip of the tube as I was installing, not a big deal but annoying. Also be warned this isn’t necessarily a “direct” fit. There will be some slight adjustments required. Nonetheless, throttle response was alot better and sounds alot better around 3-4k rpms

Good product, just wish Z1 would've mentioned it doesnt really fit so clean on the stock airbox in the G35 coupe. I have a 2007 G35 coupe and although it does fit, you have to man-handle the pipe into place and it doesnt look as cleanly fitted as it does in the picture with the pop charger. If you want a clean fit on your stock air box get the regular old oem "Z" tube.
