The factory y-pipe on most Nissans and Infinitis uses small diameter piping and collectors. This works well for reducing production cost, but leaves power on the table. The new Z1 Y-Pipe replaces your Q's restrictive factory y-pipe, increasing exhaust gas flow for improved response and engine output.
Mandrel bent primary pipes provide smooth transitions to the large 3'' merge collector. The cast stainless steel merge collector provides consistent quality and precise fitment when compared to fabricated merge collectors. The smooth transition between the runner pipes reduces disruption in exhaust flow, providing exhaust gasses with a smooth transition, increasing exhaust gas flow and improving exhaust scavenging. This maximizes exhaust performance for more power! Because we have seen variances in the many different test pipes on the market, we engineered our y-pipe to include premium flex couplers to allow for slight tolerance in exhaust configurations.
