This is a very nice product. The install is fairly straight-forward, and should take the average driveway mechanic no more than 45 minutes to install in the driveway. This unit is CARB approved, which makes things even better for those in states where that kind of thing matters. The instructions are precise and easy to follow, with step-by-step pictures included with each explanation.
The one factor in the design that I'm not a fan of is the fact that the filter is not enclosed in a full box like some of the other offerings on the market. The heat shield that is supplied is a little flimsy, especially after sitting in the engine bay for a couple of months. In this way, I really prefer Stillen's offering (full ABS Plastic box) to this, and do plan on upgrading at some point.
For what you're receiving here (the heat shield, velocity stack, and rechargeable filter) the price is really spot on though. This is a very nice unit and has provided both a very mean growl from the engine at Wide Open Throttle as well as some gains on the butt-dyno (real or perceived is debatable).
Make sure that at the end of the install, you perform the ECU reset procedures to allow your ECU to properly calibrate for the difference in air flow.
I'd also recommend swapping out to an aftermarket Z-tube of your choice at the time of your intake swap.
