JWT G35 Pop Charger Intake

Jwt pop charger. Looks great when installed. The instructions are kinda vague. The hardest part to me was install the black trim pieces to the metal shroud. I have not noticed a power increase. But also i am not tuned. Also on a side note. My mpg has stayed the same.

Nice product, instructions lacking, trim not easy to deal with but overall great product and shipped quick.

Just another awesome product I got from Z1 shipping was quick a pop charge really helps I can really feel a difference in sound and performance can wait till my Next purchase thank again for another awesome product.

I'll admit molding the trim pieces where a little tougher then it looks. But after that the install is almost immediate! Great product real head turner when you pop your hood and people see that big 4in come!!! Looks amazing!

I paired the JWT Pop Charger with a Stillen Z-tube on my G35. Sounds really nice and bolts up very securely. Both items work great together; easy install and I have noticed no issues with heat soak--always cool to the touch. The setup looks really good with the Z1 silicone couplers. I also haven't had any codes or issues with the setup, so absolutely pleased with the system.

Completely changed the sound of my intake, it's almost louder than my stock exhaust. I felt a little improvement in acceleration, and paired with a Z-Tube or similar it really does help the engine breathe. I had to clean and re-oil the filter after about 1000 miles as it got very faded and dirty. Your mileage may vary. The heat shield install was easy, the flexible flaps were a little harder and I ended up not using all of them.

Works great. The heat shield works well, the bracket keeps everything held in securely, and I like how it uses the stock air scoop. Installation was a little tricky at first but I figured out pretty quickly. The instructions aren’t very good.

I was honestly not impressed with this at all. I already had a Z Tube in my Infiniti G35 with the stock heat shield and a cheap cone filter that I bought at AutoZone. After paying for this intake, there was no difference in sound or performance. I wish I did not buy it at all. My personal guess is that most people feel the gains and sound difference by removing the baffler and adding the Z Tube. Most people do the Z Tube and Intake at the same time and so they do not realize where the extra power and sound really come from. To me this was a giant waste of money.

Bought the JWT Pop Charger for my 07 G35 and am completely satisfied! The install was fairly easy (even for a fairly inexperienced enthusiast) even though the instructions are very vague and hard to follow. Also agree that the heat shield is a little flimsy but it works. I would also suggest that if you buy the pop charger to also get the Z1 Z Tube to go with it as I did. The new growl the motor makes as it inhales air is sick!! For the money, you can't beat it hands down!!!

This is a very nice product. The install is fairly straight-forward, and should take the average driveway mechanic no more than 45 minutes to install in the driveway. This unit is CARB approved, which makes things even better for those in states where that kind of thing matters. The instructions are precise and easy to follow, with step-by-step pictures included with each explanation. The one factor in the design that I'm not a fan of is the fact that the filter is not enclosed in a full box like some of the other offerings on the market. The heat shield that is supplied is a little flimsy, especially after sitting in the engine bay for a couple of months. In this way, I really prefer Stillen's offering (full ABS Plastic box) to this, and do plan on upgrading at some point. For what you're receiving here (the heat shield, velocity stack, and rechargeable filter) the price is really spot on though. This is a very nice unit and has provided both a very mean growl from the engine at Wide Open Throttle as well as some gains on the butt-dyno (real or perceived is debatable). Make sure that at the end of the install, you perform the ECU reset procedures to allow your ECU to properly calibrate for the difference in air flow. I'd also recommend swapping out to an aftermarket Z-tube of your choice at the time of your intake swap.
