Stillen Z-Tube for G35

Looks good on a g35x. Made the motor sound a little louder. But no power upgrade i notice. I did also install a k and n drop in air filter at the same time.

Excellent product! Noticed an improvement right away, 1. Deeper exhaust tones. 2. An increase of 2 mpg going from 19 to 21 mpg, took it on a 6 hour round trip and noticed I got 395 miles to the tank, first time ever.. 3. Nice throttle response in combination with the Z1 plenum spacer. 4. Nice clean look under the hood. I would recommend this affordable option to anyone on a budget.

Perfect fit. Not what I expected. Part was defective but I didn’t feel like exchanging it. I smoke tested the intake and this part was leaking on both ends. I sanded it and sealed it so I didn’t have an intake leak.

I paired the Stillen Z-tube with the JWT Pop Charger on my G35. Sounds really nice and bolts up very securely. Both items work great together; easy install and I have noticed no issues with heat soak--always cool to the touch. Also the setup looks really good with the Z1 silicone couplers.

Great quality and sound

2008 M35S - VQ35DE Yeah. Solid piece. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It has a nice powder coated finish and feels nice and solid in your hands. Don’t expect some mind blowing increase in power. With that being said, this is an upgrade from the factory intake duct. The material is more dense and effectively insulated. You can guarantee cooler air during those hot summer months when using with the factory air box and air dam. The intake appears to handle the engine vacuum with ease. The vehicle breathes better now and throttle feels more responsive. Just make sure everything is nice and tight. Installation was straightforward. The PCV hose fitting needs to face down and the hose will need to be pulled towards the intake. Don’t worry. It’s not going to stretch it. I also got the Z1 silicone couplers; nice and durable. The factory clamps on the throttle body can be reused but not the ones on the air box. You’ll need two 2” - 4 1/2” clamps. Give the couplers at least an inch of surface for solid clamping. Also, it doesn’t have a mounting bracket. I’ve kept the stock air box so the intake is supported by the throttle body and the air box; more than enough support in conjunction with the couplers. Finally, the unit comes with a sticker for the engine bay. This sticker indicates that it’s legal for emission concerns. I put it next to the AC sticker on the hood. Overall, and for the price, I’m satisfied with the product. Timely delivery, good packaging, and quality parts. Money well spent. Simple and easy to put on, increases throttle response a little bit and can hear the engine a little more as well.

Definitely an upgrade over stock intake tube for G35. Much cleaner and not as bulky.

I ordered this Z Tube 11/09/2021 and it was easy to install and works very well. Z1 reps were very helpful in explaining why it is better than OEM. Shipment was quick. The couplers don't come with it; additional charge.

Great quality and nice OEM fitment to the stock airbox. Was nice to ditch the stock intake tube. Didn't notice an audible sound increase but it may be due to me still using the stock paper filter instead of a K&N drop in.

I don't know which was faster, the delivery or the installation! Seriously, great product at a great price, and it took about 5 minutes to install, which leaves me asking why Nissan/Infiniti didn't just install it from the start.

I bought this item to replace the stock version. Looks better, seems to hold up. No complaints and it fits perfect.

Easy bolt up ordered the replacement silicone hoses and the stillen intake tube since I was gonna be removing it and so far so good looks a lot neater let’s see how it preforms this up coming work week.

This is a really good part for the g35 but I was wondering if it passes smog ?

Awesome product. If youre looking to replace your G35 coupe intake, but keep the stock airbox I highly recommend this intake tube. All other aluminum ones dont fit perfectly with the stock airbox. This keeps it clean and oem looking.
