The Infiniti G37X equipped with the VQ37 engine is well known for elevated oil temperatures, even during normal street driving. Once you introduce performance use, especially autocross or on a road course, oil temps climb quickly. As temperatures rise, the factory ECU will intervene to protect the engine, often forcing the car into limp mode and cutting your session short. For enthusiasts who actually drive their cars the way they were meant to be driven, additional oil cooling is a necessity.

Our oil cooler kit for the G37X is designed as a custom-built system, giving you complete control over how you want your setup to be. Choose between a Z1 ProCooler or Setrab core in 19, 25, or 34 row configurations to match your intended use, from spirited street driving to full track duty. You can also select either a thermostatic or non-thermostatic configuration depending on your climate and performance goals. At the heart of the system is Z1’s billet aluminum sandwich plate, engineered for proper oil flow, secure sealing, and long-term durability.

The plumbing is where this kit truly separates itself. We use -10AN PTFE-lined stainless steel hose for superior temperature resistance, chemical durability, and long service life. Each line is finished with a protective braided outer wrap to prevent abrasion against chassis components while also protecting the hose itself from wear. Full-flow -10AN fittings ensure unrestricted oil delivery, while our captive banjo ORB fittings allow for precise line clocking for clean routing and proper fitment within the tight confines of the G37X chassis.

Optional Components

Cooler Size: At the heart of this package is an oil cooler core in your choice of 19-row 25-row, or 34-row oil cooler. Choose between the Z1 ProCooler or Setrab 6-series.

Core Dimensions

• 19 Row -- Recommended for most light street applications or applications in colder climates where less cooling is required. 
• 25 Row -- Recommended for most medium-duty street applications that see little to no track use.
• 34 Row -- Recommended for more intense applications, such as road course or autocross, or in high-temperature climates where more cooling is required.

Sandwich Plate Adapter: You may choose between the Standard Non-Thermostatic Sandwich Plate adapter and a Thermostatic model.  It is highly recommended that a Thermostatic sandwich plate adapter be purchased when installing an oil cooler onto a street-driven car.  As important as it is to keep high oil temperature under control, it is just as important to maintain the proper temperature to ensure the highest possible lubrication.
