OEM 1996-1998 Nissan 180SX (S13) and 1999-2002 Nissan Silvia (S15) Fusible Link Holder.

This fusible link can be found attached to the Positive Battery Terminal on your Nissan. This holds vital fuses designed to protect your cars electrical system in the event of a dead short. Under normal conditions, your battery is designed to vent excess gasses to prevent pressure from building up on the plates. Unfortunately, this process allows harmful acids and gasses to reach the metals on top of the battery case, more specifically the battery terminals and fusible link. This causes a build up of corrosion which in short time can erode the metal terminal and reduce the terminals contact patch to the battery post causing no-start or hard start conditions.

If corrosion has been an issue, Z1 recommends replacing the positive battery terminal attached at the same time to reduce the chance of excessive acid wear on the new fusible link holder. This is available in the options below.
