OEM Skyline R33 and R34 GT-R Positive Battery Cable.

This is the cable that transmits electrical current from the battery to the starter. The R33 and R34 positive cable has the positive terminal connected. Under normal conditions, your battery is designed to vent excess gases to prevent pressure from building up on the plates. This process causes harmful acids and gases to reach the metals on top of the battery case, more specifically the battery terminals and fusible link. This can lead to a build up of corrosion, which in short time can erode the metal terminal and reduce the terminals contact patch to the battery post causing no-start or hard start conditions.
