Product Description

Z1's G35 Strut Tower Brace is designed to reduce chassis flex during cornering, providing sharper turn-in response and making your car feel more predictable and nimble. The center bar is made using the very same 4-channel aluminum extrusion profile as our other chassis braces, adding rigidity without excessive weight. The center bar bolts to fabricated steel end plates that are installed on the top of each strut tower. Installation of the brace is simple and can be completed in a short time with basic hand tools.

Definitely improves turn in. Design is open enough to reach shock adjustments and fits with the brake brace which is strongly recommended. I have kinetix v+ plenum and I had to install the brace over the existing shock nuts to clear it. By design it is not as rigid as alutec, but with uncertainty of that one fitting and needing shock access. This one fits the bill. Oh and one more thing. the reason it gets three stars. The m10 bolts that hold the bar to the brackets, they are junk. They galled/stripped out on first install. They can’t be torqued to 37ft-lb per the instructions and Z1 doesn’t warranty fasteners. Maybe some anti seize would have helped, or only tighten to bottom out the lock washers.

The strut tower brace was of high quality and very easy to install. It has improved the cornering of my G35 and I would recommend it.

I ordered the Z1 tower brace , which it only took a week ,to Arrive here in New Zealand . For my RHD Nissan Skyline 2005 GT350 coupe [G35 ]. The day it arrived. I installed it. measurements are perfect. But i had to grind the bracket that holds the AC lines to clear the Tower brace bracket , and detach the wires from it and reroute them . on the passenger side . A easy job . Then i did a drive test . Impressive . The front end feels stronger . Also the steering feels a lot more sharper too . Plus its more planted on the bends at 100kph. I Recommend RHD countries , get this from Z1 Motorsports

Strut bar was a quick 20-30 min install. Love the way it looks plus I notice a subtle difference when cornering. Awesome build quality and love the embossed Z1 detail! Great addition to the G!

I really liked how the z1 strut bar looks. All blacked out and sleek. Install was very easy. The turn in when taking corners fast doesnt feel sloppy no more. Nice and tight!
