Product Description
The Grand Touring Clutch Series from OS Giken is directed toward the performance driver who wants to maintain many of the stock characteristics of an OEM clutch, but still have the availability to hold a good amount of power. Comparable to other OSG models like STR and TR, the Grand Touring has a more drivable feeling with less vibrations and chatter free sound. As shown in the pictures, the three holes in the pressure plate reveal small clips that hold the floater plate on top of the clutch during engagement. This not only gives the driver a softer engagement, but an overall quieter transaction.
These clutches come with either hard or soft pedal pressure designs. The soft pedal feel is similar to the STR series clutch and the hard pedal feel is similar to the TR style clutch kits. The same great OS Giken feel with less vibration and a smoother engagement. These are the revolution in race clutches without sacrificing the streetable OEM feeling.

When i twin turboed my Z, it was a hard decision trying to figure out what clutch would work at a 500+whp power level and not engage like a semi truck... I took a stab at the giken GT (hard plate)
The goal is to live at around 525whp then later build to about 700 whp...
I called z1 (and Giken) to make sure that this was the right option... I was told that the clutch will hold to 700 to the wheel..
About 6k later (@525+- WHP), this clutch grabs with no issues... the tension and engagement is smooth with no issues. Its not bad in traffic, and definitely not bad at the track..
