Nissan Recommends changing spark plugs 105,000 miles. During this service, it is also recommended to inspect and replace valve gaskets to ensure the service does not need to be repeated, as the upper plenum and ignition coils will already be removed preventing you from paying labor rates twice.

It is also recommended to inspect and replace spark tube seals to reduce the risk of oil leaking into the spark tubes, resulting in engine misfires and damage to the ignition coils. These can only be serviced by replacing the valve covers.
