Whenever the head is removed, replacement head bolts are required to maintain proper and equal torque and longevity. Head bolts stretch after they're initially torqued and heat cycled over the years, so reusing old head bolts is never recommended. These bolts are OEM replacement hardware for all VQ35DE equipped vehicles.
